It’s been a long time since I last ate cereal. It definitely brings me back to my childhood days where I went through a Frosted Flakes phase and ate it for weeks. I didn’t realize how much sugar was in it, but I think that’s why kids love cereal so much. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is practically a dessert.
I stumbled across Kellogg’s Froot Loops Jumbo Snax, which is a cereal snack pouch that is perfect for snacking. (As evidenced by my pictures below where I’m eating it in my car.) Each Froot Loop is big enough to grab compared to the traditional small pieces. There’s various packaging sizes like the single serve pouch ($5 for 12 ct) seen below as well as a resealable bag.
The packaging calls out natural fruit flavors, and they notably don’t use high fructose corn syrup. But they do use artificial colors, which I know is a deal breaker for some people.
This is a smart innovation by Kellogg to switch into an adjacent category and help consumers reshape their thinking about cereal only being a breakfast food.
